Application process

If a school wishes to become a voting member school after 2 consecutive years of participation, then the following application process needs to be followed.

01

Express interest in writing via email, to any of the EAISAC Representatives from a voting member school. This email must outline basic details of the school including; facilities, hosting ability, current participation level, and future plans for participation and hosting.

This email should include a PDF attachment of a letter from the Head of School which outlines the school's commitment to EAISAC.

02

The invitational school wishing to move to voting membership will be discussed at the next meeting with all of the Activities Directors from all of the voting member schools.

03

If there is a unanimous vote in favor of the invitational school becoming an EAISAC voting member, then the school’s application will be referred to the Heads of voting member Schools for a final decision.

04

If the Heads vote to approve membership,  then said school will be conferred voting membership subject to any conditions stipulated by the Heads’ approval. If the final decision is against, the school must wait a minimum of one year before re-applying.

Probationary Period

Membership is initially granted on a 12-month non-voting probationary period, which can be extended at the discretion of the EAISAC Heads (EH).

Termination of EAISAC Membership

If a school wishes to leave EAISAC, the leaving school’s Head of School will need to write a letter addressed to the other Heads of Schools about their departure. This needs to be done by the fall meeting and one year in advance. The school is expected to fulfil any residual obligations during their final year.

A school may be asked to leave EAISAC if this is moved and approved unanimously by the remaining heads of EAISAC schools (EH).
